Store Audit
Get a focused view of what to address next.
An optional $500 audit reviews agreed store pages and concerns across page speed, mobile experience, tracking and the app stack. The output is a written set of findings and practical recommendations, with checks and limitations explained. It is a focused review, not implementation or an open-ended investigation, and it is not required before a project inquiry.

$500
Optional focused review with written recommendations. Implementation and deeper investigation are separate.
Is this the right fit?
- Multiple apps installed and unsure of their combined impact
- Page speed or mobile experience feels sluggish
- Analytics or tracking data seems inconsistent
What the work can involve.
Speed & Performance Review
Review representative page-load behavior, image delivery and relevant scripts on agreed pages. Note potential issues and the checks needed to confirm their impact. Recommendations distinguish observed behavior from questions that need deeper investigation.
Mobile Experience Check
Review agreed navigation, product information and cart interactions on representative mobile devices. Look for readable layouts, usable controls and shopping-flow friction. Checkout access and platform constraints are considered when defining what can be reviewed.
App Stack & Tracking Analysis
Review agreed tracking requirements and relevant apps for overlap or behavior that needs investigation. Event checks depend on consent state, access and representative actions. An apparent discrepancy is documented for validation rather than treated as proof that every installed integration is broken.
Agree the scope first.
Deliverables and boundaries are written down before work starts.
Scoped deliverables
- Written findings for the agreed pages and review areas
- Prioritized next steps with validation checks where appropriate
- Notes on relevant tracking and app-stack concerns
- Access limitations and questions requiring a separate investigation
What to agree separately
- The $500 price covers the focused review agreed before work starts
- Implementation, deep technical investigation and ongoing support are separate
- Findings reflect the reviewed pages, access, devices and consent states at the time
Fictional example
A sample of the written findings
Synthetic sample audit — fictional store; illustrative findings, not client work or measured results.
Imagine a fictional home-goods store with collection filters, product images and several apps. The observations below show how an audit might distinguish a concern, a validation check and a possible next step. No live store or measurement is represented.
Investigate page-load impact
Product image delivery
- Illustrative observation
- Hypothetical concern: product images may be larger than their displayed size, adding unnecessary work on a mobile connection.
- How to check
- Inspect delivered image dimensions and loading behavior on representative product pages and devices before attributing a performance issue to images.
- Suggested next step
- If confirmed, review responsive image sizing and below-the-fold loading in the theme. Keep important initial images available; test changes before applying them broadly.
Validate measurement behavior
Tracking event consistency
- Illustrative observation
- Hypothetical concern: a native integration and an app may both send a purchase event, or may behave differently across consent states. No duplication has been measured.
- How to check
- With permission, review the event plan, integration settings and representative test actions across consent states. Compare event identifiers and timings before concluding that a purchase is counted twice.
- Suggested next step
- If overlap is confirmed, agree the intended event owner and scope the correction. Validate the change against the event plan; do not disable tracking blindly.
Review before consolidating
Overlapping app behavior
- Illustrative observation
- Hypothetical concern: two email-capture features might load similar scripts or present competing prompts. Their role in other store workflows is not yet known.
- How to check
- Review the relevant settings, network activity and visible prompts on agreed pages. Check dependencies and business use before recommending removal.
- Suggested next step
- If the features are redundant, consider consolidating them after testing affected flows. Retain required behavior and review service costs before making a change.
- This fictional example is a format demonstration, not evidence of client outcomes, measured scores or improved revenue.
- Access, consent behavior and representative device checks are needed before confirming any real-store finding; implementation is separately scoped.
How we work together.
Store Access & Scoping
Agree the pages, concerns, access and delivery timeframe. Request only the access needed for that scope; specific permissions depend on what must be reviewed.
Review & Analysis
Review the agreed pages and systems, document relevant observations and indicate what still needs validation. Recommendations reflect the evidence available rather than promising an exhaustive diagnosis.
Report Delivery
A written report with prioritised recommendations, consolidation suggestions and clear next steps. No implementation is included.
Useful questions.
What does the $500 cover exactly?
An agreed focused review of page speed, mobile experience, tracking and relevant app-stack concerns, with written findings and recommendations. It does not include implementation or unlimited investigation.
Do I need to give full admin access?
We agree the least access needed for the specific review. Some checks can use public pages; others need particular store or measurement permissions. We confirm requirements rather than assuming one account role is sufficient for every audit.
Can I implement the recommendations myself?
The findings explain possible next steps and checks. Some changes can be handled by your team; others need technical implementation or deeper investigation. Neither fixes nor guaranteed improvements are included in the audit price.
How long does the audit take?
We agree the delivery timeframe once the scope and required access are clear. There is no fixed universal turnaround, and the audit remains optional before a project.
